Taking a Break

I'vv been dealing with sciatica the last two weeks. The past several days the pain has been intense. So - until the pain dies down ...

I was wondering what happened to you. Have you tried yoga for sciatica? Worked for me. Hope you feel better.

I hope you feel better soon! Yoga, Pilates as well as Body Rolling all seem to relieve the pain from sciatica and may be worth trying in future. Meanwhile, please take care of yourself and rest well.

Dear one, My husband had the same problem as you and the Doc recommended P.T. It fixed the problem. If you won't go to the ER, perhaps you have a friend that is a Physical Therapist and can help you. M

Oh my aching back…it even hurts to read of your experiences.

Boy! Can I ever relate to this pain!

I’ve got three disc problems in my lower back and from my experiences I did everything possible starting with non-invasive treatment options first to over these pains.

Unfortunately or fortunately I’m up to periodic epidurals but it’s kept me going. Then again, like all other things back problems and pain are also unique personal experiences. According to and I think it was a Newsweek article several years ago, there are individuals walking around with herniated discs and such not knowing or exhibiting any symptoms and there are others like me who’ve experienced debilitating and excruciating back pain.
